About Us
From a cooking-oil importer in 1993 to a diversified trading group serving Afghanistan and regional markets.

Growth shaped by demand, relationships and consistency.
Faqir Wahab Group of Companies commenced its commercial activities in 1993. At the beginning, the company imported approximately ten containers of cooking oil per month from Pakistan and supplied the product through agencies across Afghanistan.
As population and market demand increased, FWGC expanded its import volume and established relationships with cooking-oil manufacturers in multiple countries. Over the following 18 years, the group imported oil under the Wahab, Bostan, Maiwand, Muneer and Kul names from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Dubai, Turkey, Pakistan and other markets.
The portfolio later widened to household cleaning products, pulses, tomato paste, palm shortening, stationery and selected industrial and consumer goods.
